Privacy policy

This policy explains what LAVAN (“we”) collects when you use this website, how we use it and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.
What we collect
- Email signups: your email address and which flavor you’re most excited about.
- Reservations: your email and the pack and flavor you reserved.
- Orders: your name, email, shipping address, phone number (if given) and what you bought.
- “How did you find us?”: your optional answer in the cart.
- Payment details: entered directly on Stripe’s secure checkout. We never see or store your full card number.
- Basic technical data: standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) kept by our hosting provider for security. Your cart is saved in your own browser so it’s there when you return.
- Site activity: pages viewed, flavors picked, items added to cart and checkouts started, linked to a random ID stored in your browser, plus the ad or link that brought you here (for example, UTM tags or an Instagram ad click ID).
Advertising and the Meta Pixel
We use the Meta Pixel and Meta’s Conversions API to measure how our Instagram and Facebook ads perform and to reach people likely to be interested in LAVAN. These tools send Meta information such as the pages you view, actions like adding to cart or purchasing, your IP address and browser details, Meta cookies, and — for purchases — your email, phone and shipping location in hashed (scrambled) form. Meta may use it under its own privacy policy.
Under some US state laws this counts as “sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out at any time on our Your privacy choices page, and we automatically honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser.
How we use it
- To process, ship and support your order, including refunds.
- To email you about your order, reservation or launch updates you signed up for.
- To understand which flavors and channels people prefer, so we can make better products.
We don’t sell your personal information for money. We do share limited information with Meta for advertising, as described below, and you can opt out.
Who helps us
We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf:
- Stripe — payments and receipts.
- Supabase — our secure database for orders, reservations and signups.
- Vercel — website hosting.
- Meta — ad measurement and advertising (see above).
How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting. Email signups are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email. You can also ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information by emailing lavandrinks@gmail.com. Depending on where you live (for example, California), you may have additional rights under local law; we will honor them.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
